With BeneSit Special Design you can choose the top color of the seat and bottom color on the side of the chair in our fabric collection, which is Nevotex Stella. Please note that BeneSit Special design is made to order and often has a delivery time of 8-12 weeks and there is no right of return on chairs ordered in special design. BeneSit Special design differs from the 4 BeneSit starndard chairs – which are available with top color in Orange, Grey, Petrol and Red and bottom color is Anthracite grey. BeneSit standard chairs will most often be in stock. BeneSit Specialdesign can be delivered in 4 different heights like the standard chairs (Small, Medium, Large and XLarge).
How to specify which colors you want on your custom chair
In the Shop, select height and quantity and go to Checkout. In the checkout, you can specify in the comment field which top and bottom color you want. Example: Top color: 15 Dijon, Bottom color: 53 Midnight.
BeneSit is an ergonomic office chair in Danish design
Benesit is a Danish designed and Danish produced chair that straightens the back and activates the core. The chair is good for the back, as you sit high and have your legs at a downward oblique angle, where biomechanical principles make you straighten and stretch your back. BeneSit also has a different and minimalist Danish design, and is easy to move around as it is so light that you can lift it with a little finger and then it has a practical leather handle. Finally, the chair is produced with the environment in mind, where materials are eco-labeled and the chair core is 100% recyclable. The bottom is made of cork and does not scratch the floor.
BeneSit is an ergonomic office chair that is an alternative or supplement to a regular office chair. It is also often used in the home office and as an extra chair in the home. In open plan offices, BeneSit is also perfect for informal meetings and when extra guests arrive.
General recommendations when choosing chair height
A) Person height (the chair is mostly used by a specific person):
Under approx. 163cm = Small. Small is 50cm high.
Approx. 163-175cm = Medium. Medium is 60cm high.
Approx. 176-192cm = Large. Large is 70cm high.
Over approx. 193cm =X Large. X-large is 80cm high.
B) Table height (the chair is used at a specific table):
Desk/dining table = Medium
High table = Large
The company BeneSit Aps is a Danish-owned family business, where the design engineer Caroline (daughter) in early 2019 has designed the chair together with her father (Peter), as they both had back pain after sedentary work. The chair was developed in collaboration with occupational therapists and people with chronic back pain. The chair is sold through BeneSit.dk and through retailers.
